Due to the constructions and associated historical events, some of which are millennia old, these sites are of high universal value; they are visited by many pilgrims, both laymen and the clergy (prominently Buddhist), as well as by local and foreign tourists.

Sunday Sun

The Sunday sun awakes me
In perfect calmness it lets me be
Windows open, birds are free
This is life, here lies the key
Peace of mind and happiness
I am me, I am blessed
Why worry about the little things
When I have all beauty that life brings
Rays of sun, singing birds
Flowers in bloom and poetic words
Love for life is all I need
Love your life and you'll be free

PRETTY LITTLE THINGS

The little things are most worthwhile-- A quiet word, a look, a smile, A listening ear that's quick to share, another's thoughts, another's care...Though sometimes they may seem quite small, these little things mean most of all. Empty little things, pretty little things, lost and lonely, forgotten little dreams. Silly little dreams, funny little dreams misplaced and weeping, crazy little thing.

Do you wake up with glistening cheeks like I do? I am a pretty painted lady, don't be fooled, no its not a dream. I'm but just another doll, masked in gloomy glory, will I break the fall. I understand that this is my reality and I always look back watching as these thoughts retreat to everything I ever believed in, in everything I never believed in.

Do you want my pain in silence? In a bitter wake of violence, everything comes crashing, all of my past foes. Nothing left to do but smile in the darkness, my sweetest one for life. While waiting for this tragedy; It fills my heart with strife.

Where would I turn, just where could I hide? In this broken marred picture, there is no one by my side. I am a pretty painted lady, but I'm just another doll, masked in gloomy glory, will I break the fall.

What are your must-have beauty products?
“I love rosehip oil as a moisturiser and paw paw ointment as a lip balm.”

What’s your best beauty tip?
“Start on the inside. Make sure to eat healthy and drink plenty of water.”

What's your beauty routine?
“I just splash my face with water in the mornings and wear a moisturiser with sunscreen in it. After work I remove my make-up with cleanser and then moisturise.”

What are your favourite fashion labels and why?
“I like unique clothing with beading and usually opt for more soft, flowing styles for example, Peace Angels. But I usually just wear jeans or whatever is the most comfortable!”

What outfit or trend is your absolute fave at the moment?
“I really like the ‘urban-gypsy look.”

What’s the best piece of fashion advice you have ever been given?
“Be individual and wear what suits you and what you like.”

Tell me about yourself?

"I’m from Queensland but I was born in Melbourne and lived there for most of my primary school years. I also lived in Switzerland for a year and in Kakadu National Park. Then we moved to Cairns and I lived there until I moved to Sydney for Home and Away."

How did you get started in Home and Away?
"I had an agent who was in Sydney and she told me to go and audition. So I went to the audition, which was for casting in Melbourne. Then they asked me to come back for a recall in Sydney. I was not expecting to get the role at all because I initially auditioned for the role of Kit Hunter, who is played by Amy Mizzi. I didn't get that role but they created another one for me, which was quite flattering and really nice. I had no expectations of getting anything as I was still at high school doing year 12. I just thought I would go to get the experience and I was really lucky – I got the role."

Was moving around so much hard on you?
"No, I liked moving, I like change and I look at it as a positive. My Dad is a pilot so we did move around a lot. Living in Switzerland was a good experience for me and I learned a lot from it. I’m lucky because Mum spoke Swiss to me when I was little so now I can speak Swiss, which is really handy."

Do you have any other talents?
"I love art. I’ve always loved creative arts – all of those arty subjects at school like painting, sketching, anything like that. Also music – I love guitar and I’ve had singing lessons. I’m learning to skateboard and have been trying out lots of new exciting fun things since I’ve been in Sydney. I have even been surfing!"

Prada Jewelry

French actress Lea Seydoux recently worked with Prada on the perfume advertising campaign of Candy, and it looks like co-operation was so successful that now the actress, is the face of the brands cruise collection representing a new line of jewelry Prada Resort 2012. The French conquered the Italian charm Seydou Miuccia heart, and an invitation to become the face of jewelry was not long in coming.

Barney's feat Louboutin

Personally I'm not a fan of Louboutins. I think they're too loud and too main stream. Not to mention that there are so many fakes and copies being sold. But that doesn't mean I don't find some of their designs nice, I like a couple of pairs. What I really adore about the brand is the layout inside the Louboutin boutiques and the mix of colors and patterns and textures they use, very creative. Anyway speaking of creative, This exhibit of Barneys feat. Louboutin could easily be deemed as 'the best window showcase' ever. This, is art.

Recipe 353: Crispy Sea Bass, Lemon Mushroom Risotto and Peppered Lamb

3 Part Recipe (i suggest you start with the risotto first since it takes about 25-30 mins to make. Then the lamb and fish after since both take like only 5 mins to make.)

ingredients:

2 tablespoons of olive oil
3/4 cup dry white wine
a handful of shiitake mushrooms
3 garlic cloves, crushed or finely chopped
4 tablespoons of butter
half a large onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 cup of arborio rice
4 cups of vegetable stock
grated lemon zest and juice from 2 lemons
3/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup mixed chopped fresh chives and parsley
salt and freshly cracked black pepper

______________________________________________________

risotto procedure:

1. Bring the stock with the juice of 2 lemons to a simmer in a medium sized saucepan while you sautee the mushrooms, shallots and garlic in another pan, remove and set aside.2. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the pan where you sauteed the mushrooms and sweat some onions. Stir in the rice and stir and fry for about 1 minute. Then deglaze with dry white wine.
3. When there is no more alcohol smell evaporating from the pan, put in 2 ladlefuls of the stock which still should be in a pan simmering on low heat. Cook gently, stirring occasionally to prevent the rice from sticking to the pan, until all the liquid is absorbed.
4. Stir in more liquid as each ladleful is absorbed. Continue this process until the risotto is thick and creamy - about 20 - 25 minutes. The rice should be tender, but firm to the bite.
5. Just before serving, stir in the mushrooms, 2 tablespoons of butter, grated lemon zest, 2/3 of the Parmesan and the fresh herbs. Adjust the seasonings if necessary. To serve, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan and herbs.

ingredients:

4 ribs from a frenched rack of lamb
2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary

1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme

2 cloves garlic, minced
fresh crached salt and pepper
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tablespoon butter

______________________________________________________

lamb procedure:
1. Rub rib rack(s) all over with mixture of rosemary, thyme, and garlic. Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper. Place in a thick plastic bag with olive oil. Spread oil around so that it coats the lamb rack(s) all over. Squeeze out as much air as you can from the bag and seal. (you can leave it in the fridge for 30 mins to an hour but if you're in a hurry its also ok if you don't have time to let it sit and marinade. you just have to put more salt and pepper while cooking)
2. Butter up your pan, place the lamb and sear each side for about 2 minutes. Season before you turn to the other side.

ingredients:
2 sea bass fillets
1 and a half tablespoons of butter
salt and pepper

______________________________________________________

crispy sea bass procedure:
1. Score the skin of the seabass about half an inch apart from each other and sprinkle salt onto the skin.
2. Melt the butter on the pan and throw in the fish once the butter turns a bit golden. Sear each side of the fish for 3 minutes or until you see the fish cooking to the middle, season then turn.

NOT YOUR TYPICAL SUNDAY POST

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them,
but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children
as living arrows are sent forth.

LET GO

"Although I speak from my own experience, I feel that no one has the

right to impose his or her beliefs on another person. I will not propose

to you that my way is best. The decision is up to you. If you find some

point which may be suitable for you, then you can carry out experiments

for yourself. If you find that it is of no use, then you can discard it."

TATSPIRATION

My next tat would prolly be either:
a. cogito ergo sum -- I think, therefore I am.
b. continua a sorridere a ogni nuovo giorno -- keep smiling to a new day
c. la vie en rose -- My life in pink, this is actually a title of a song talking about being positive, living life to the fullest and looking at life in a sunny way

Help me decide

The Truth Shall Prevail

His friends, including myself, has only good words to say about Rj. He is such a nice, sweet and thoughtful friend, a true gentle person, soft spoken and mild mannered. It is unfair and unjust for an 18yr old with good moral character and who takes pain in building a good name just to be accused of a crime without substantial proof or evidence. Be strong Rj and don't lose hope. We will be praying for you everyday.
