What is your dream destination?
My dream destination right now would be a big party place. Probably Miami, Cabo, Ibiza or Brazil. I'm in the mood to get loose and just party it out rather than cultivate my cultural side.
What is your most memorable trip and why?
My most memorable trip was my 6 month stint in Beijing. I really got the most out of that 6 months by living in a hotel first then transferring into an apartment, working in the Hotel and basically just toughing it out.
Do you enjoy international or domestic trips more?
I have to be honest that I haven't flown anywhere domestic but it doesn't mean that I don't want to. I do, its just that my parents haven't allowed me just yet.
What fulfillment do you get out of traveling?
The memories.
Describe your travel look?
Comfy and very neutral. Cashmere top, leggings and Chanel ballet flats. Prada bag coz its the lightest and a keepall since its the sturdiest. Big sunglasses help a lot when you're grabbing zzz. Hair tied back since the air craft carpet and seats make hair all static-ieee.
What's inside your carry on bag?
A lot! Let me start with snacks (cereal, candies, chips, etc.), my cosmetic kit, toiletries, extra shirt, a Vuitton shawl, a book (which i never really end up reading), magazines, my computer, slippers. But, it really depends where I'm going.
How many pieces of luggage do you usually bring and how do you pack?
Just one. I pack very light especially when I know that I'd surely shop a lot in my destination and I wouldn't end up wearing what I bring anyway. So there Its usually just a pair of shorts and jeans, a cardigan, a sun dress, a night out dress, a pair of wedges, some t-shirts, underwear, bags and a bunch of jewelry and accessories.
Where is your favorite destination?
Italy specifically Rome, Capri, Tuscany and Naples because I love italian food and small quaint towns. Osaka because the beef is another story.
3 travel tips
1. Try to live like a local. Go to all the best places.
2. EAT, EAT and EAT.
3. Enjoy the local cultures and avoid tourist traps.
packing light is always a savvy traveling tip. Less weight means more comfort and freedom. Only a handful of ladies have the good sense of packing light these days.
