Lubin

It is rumored that when Marie Antoinette fled the Palace of Versailles when it was attacked by an angry mob of peasants that it was her signature scent that gave her disguise away. The perfume, which is a blend of bergamot, cardamom, rose, jasmine, incense, cinnamon, sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla, tonka bean and amber, is called Black Jade. Ironically, it was released for sale on July 14th, which is Bastille Day in France.
The scent, which is now sold by Lubin, was originally designed for the queen by the royal perfumer Jean-Louis Fargeon. She is said to have worn it always, and carried a small vial of it with he right up until her beheading. It’s available at available at Aedes De Venustas in New York.

SCOTT DISICK

Scott Disick is blunt, at times insensitive, and what Khloe Kardashian would consider a sociopath, truth is, he’s one of the best dressed men on the L.A, and even New York City scene. At a time where most guys don’t object to wearing hoodies and sweatpants out and about, it’s refreshing to see a reality star who appreciates a crisp, tailored suit.

In terms of color, the guy loves his pastels. While sometimes his looks are a little too Miami-Vice for my taste, I appreciate that he steps outside the fashion boundaries of the typical male fashion of today and always appears clean-cut.

"I try not really wear anything off the rack due to the fact that once you wear something custom, it’s hard to go back."

His actions might always be questionable but when it comes to his satorial choices, it’s hats off to Mr. Disick.

Define "FABOO"-- SCOTT.

DEAR SANTA

Dear Santa,

If you know me well enough, you must know how I feel each time I am told that I have to drive. I like nice cars, but I'd rather be driven in them. Recently though since I have to move around a lot and in places not in spitting distance to the family's usual whereabouts, I am forced to drive to work. Its so frustrating and driving a very unstable 320 hp Impreza doesn't make the task any easier. Its too powerful for me, the engine is so loud, I can't hear Wiz rappin about smokin some blunt.
So Santa dear, if its not too much to ask, I think I need a Volvo xc60 or an Audi Q5 (that's if you could spare an extra $6000 for me hehe). I want a white one ok? I promise to continue being a good girl. hihihi

Yours Truly,

Smiley

Destination: Bali

WHEN
Nyepi festival (Balinese new year)
Balinese new year celebrates new year every first new moon in March and they celebrate it like no other culture does. The Balinese Hindus do not celebrate the new year with lavish party, instead they celebrate the coming of the new year with meditation. No activities are allowed to take place. Everything is closed and no one is allowed to go out of their houses or make noise of any kind, even the airport is closed on this day. These prohibitions aim at controlling oneself and submission to God. Don't worry, resorts will still be in full service and they wont let you starve. Their kitchens will still be open but the menu will be limited.
Nyepi Day is a time for quiet contemplation and introspection; for visitors it’s also a panacea for the constant and overwhelming stimulation of modern life.

The anti-climax of the meditation is on the following day, which is called Ngembak Geni, where the people are happy and bless their success of controlling themselves. It is also the day of get-togetherness and family gathering.

A place, where you probably would like to stay forever, the Bulgari resort can only be described as a most beautiful and desirable destination. Bali, with its panoramic landscape, including blue lagoons and volcanic mountains and unforgettable scented air, which you just want to keep in your lungs and not letting go, this place should capture your heart.

Vegetarians may not be down with this one, but for meat-lovers like me, I think this small, open-air restaurant is #1 on my list. Ibu Oka has stood here for the past 20 years, serving up what many say is some of the best roast suckling pig on Bali was actually rated the best pork in the world by Jamie Oliver. Bourdain also payed a visit for his No Reservations: Bali episode.

Perched on a rock about 14 meters above the ocean, sound of waves crashing, sun on your face and sand glistening in the background this will def put you in a good mood whether you want to be or not. Rock bar is the perfect place to have sunset cocktails and just the place to lounge and chill to cap up your day in paradise.

Limitless Travels (MILD)

Gastronomic Bucket List (mild version)

On my next trip to Tokyo
I have to experience first hand what the people have been raving about and how much cash they spend for one dinner in some modern-Tokyo_establishment. Calling their food the most expensive the food is just a shame because its THE MOST EXPENSIVE RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD Aragawa  offers a $400 per person sake-fed Kobe Beef steak served ever so simply, with just pepper and mustard and nothing else.

On my next European adventure
I'll make sure I get a table at Tickets  for lunch and at Comerç, 24 for "luxury" tapas.
Cinc Sentis i heard that this new style ultra modern catalanan cuisine tasting resto is worth the bucks.  (Barcelona)

Lunch at Au Petit Sud Ouest (Paris)  where the foie is homemade and lovers of duck hear this, foie with truffle sauce, oven grilled goat cheese salad with smoked duck, duck wings, cherry or orange flavored duck stew and the best duck confit in town.

Helene Darroze (Paris) , the most celebrated female chef in Paris opened a restaurant which serves intriguingly modern french dishes such as a sublime duck foie confit served with an exotic fruit chutney or a roast wild duck stuffed with foie and truffles. Mondfuckingblowing.

On the agenda would also be to enjoy the view from Hotel de Ville's penthouse restobar Georges (Paris) , just coz its uber-trendy and uber-hyped about now, I'd have a drink or ten there make out with 5 french boys or so and have falafel for midnight snack at L'As du Falafel (literally, Ace of Falafel).
Away from the touristy quarters for champagne brunch at L'Atelier du Parc (Paris) where the food is superb minus the agonizing tab.

I'd end my gastronomique bucket list by having possibly the most traditional French meal I can get in Paris. Taillevent has held onto their stars for 30 years, that must mean something right...? Its as haute as haute cuisine could get think, foie terrine, lobster sausage, spelt risotto with truffles and frog legs, succulent lamb leg and top it off with baba au rhum, it will prolly be the most expensive meal of my life.
(Paris)

The Most Expensive Porsche

Porsche has just announced that the eagerly anticipated 918 Spyder will be priced at half a million euros, making it the most expensive car Porsche has ever released.
The enormous fee hasn't dissuaded potential buyers, with Porsche reporting that 2,000 customers have already begun talks to buy the electrifying two-seater. The statistic is particularly poignant because unless 1,000 potential suitors had came forward, the sportscar would have remained just a concept.
The super sexy car is equipped with a 500hp V8 hybrid engine, which allows the 918 Spyder to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 199 mph.
The most expensive car Porsche has produced to date is the Carrera GT – about 450,000 euros.
