Olivia Palermo Interview

I loved Olivia Palermo from the first time I read about her back in 2007 -ish up to this day.
I found this interview she did for gloss.com where she told what's in her beauty bag and answered a whole lot of questions about her beauty essentials, here it is.
Inside her Make-up Bag:
- Bobbi Brown Velvent Plum eye palette

- L'oreal professional Force Vector masque
- YSL touch eclat
- Guerlain idylle
- YSL ombres duolumieres eye shadow duo
- Guerlain blush 4 eclats in tendre aurora
- Essie nail varnish in lollipop
- Johnson's mini baby powder
- YSL Fard a levres pure lipstick in 132
ON THAT HAIR
“This is all me, no extensions,” She says. “Dammit! I keep it in good shape by using a really good conditioner and mask and have learned how to do three styles that suit me: the bun, a loose twist and down and wavy, sometimes pinned at the side.’ She then gives us a lesson on the perfect bun.”
ON GOING BRUNETTE
‘”I was going blonder and blonder. Then my mother and boyfriend intervened and told me to stop before I ruined the condition. So, I went dark for winter. It looks chic and sophisticated.
 HER SKIN SECRET
“My dermatologist, Dr Dennis Gross, is my skin secret. I’ve been seeing him since I was a teenager. I go once a month for a good deep cleanse with extraction and everything. Then I don’t leave the house for a day.”
SIGNATURE MAKE-UP LOOK
“I always make a statement with my eyes. Smoky eyes, fresh skin and a nude lip suit me best and look chic with everything. but I’d love to break out and try a cats-eye look with liquid liner”
HOW SHE STAYS IN SHAPE “I love bikram yoga, which you do in a hot room. It’s the perfect combination of cardio and strength work.”
ON DIETS
“It’s boring, but, everything in moderation.’ We believe her. She had smarties and a latte for afternoon tea on our photo shoot.”
SIGNATURE NAIL SHADE
“I haven’t seen my natural nail colour since I was a kid. I always make time for manicures. There’s a great 24hr nail bar I go to after filming to de-stress. Red is classic and goes with everything. But if I want to be more on trend, it’s black all the way.” HER SECRET SPOT REMEDY
Take the sticky bit of a plaster and cut it into a few small pieces, then layer it three or four times over your spot before you go to bed. In the morning it’s gone.”
HER HANDBAG ESSENTIAL
“I always carry a small pot of baby powder with me to freshen up skin or my hair. A make-up artist told me to use it because it’s finer than face powder. And it smells great.’
ON ALWAYS GETTING IT RIGHT
“I know every piece in my wardrobe by heart. Before I buy anything I scan my wardrobe in my head and think what I’ll wear it with – how I’ll wear my hair and make-up. That way I never make a mistake.”
HER NEXT SEASON LOOK
“I’d love to chop all my hair off. I’m thinking of a soft, shaggy bob. Watch this space.”
