DESTINATION: Hermitage Bay

The perfect Caribbean paradise you have forever be dreaming of might just be this. Hidden away on a stunning bay on the west coast of Antigua, this singular resort boasts just 25 individual Cottage Suites, blended into the natural landscape. Your sublime retreat might reside on the beach just steps from the water, or it may be tucked into the hillside with its own plunge pool and not only that, each cottage comes with a separate garden shower which allows you to bathe under the stars. You can also to have your  breakfast at their casually elegant beachfront restaurant or served not only in-room but, bedside. Ah, I don't think I could ask for more. But what got me sold into looking seriously into this is when I read these words:

"CHILDREN BELOW THE AGE OF 12 ARE NOT ALLOWED EXCEPT ON JULY 1-AUGUST 31 WHEN THEY ACCEPT CHILDREN 8 YEARS OF AGE AND ABOVE"
No kids? No nuisance? AH. VALHALLA INDEED.

So if you get a bit bored and you're starting to go nuts... On this pretty little corner of the island, you are just half an hour from the capital of St. John's, home to an inviting Saturday market and Nelson's Dockyard National Park, with its archaeology sites, nature trails and restored Georgian naval dockyard. You can learn about the history of the Caribbean islands at Dow's Hill Interpretation Center - or for an unforgettable day trip, take a helicopter to visit the volcano observatory at neighboring Montserrat.

Take note, this is not so much of a uncivilized retreat okay. I mean each room has LCD tvs with cable, there's also high speed wireless internet throughout the whole resort, the toiletries are all Hermes and you get breakfast, lunch, canapes, dinner and champagne, proseco and all premium beverages all the way. Its called all-inclusive luxury resort for a reason.
