Goose for Lunch

For those of you who have never tasted goose before, imagine a richer, slightly more gamier version of duck. I have always liked goose as duck is generally less fatty. I'm craving for goose so bad that I even had shredded duck with mixed fruits from Gloria Maris a couple of days ago just coz I dunno where I could get my hands on goose around here. But that was a couple of days ago. Today is a different story though. Goose, that's what I had for lunch today. 


Well I wasn't that satisfied as the skin wasn’t as crispy as I hoped for, nor was the goose as warm as I liked it to be.  Well, it was rather cold and the fats had started to take a gelatinous texture. 


Kidding!! 


As a matter of fact I really have no complaints and  I actually feel entirely lucky to have goose straight from Hong Kong delivered to me in school for lunch. Its been so long since I haven't been to Hong Kong. I usually go twice a year but recently we haven't had found the time to go. HA! So thanks Buttercup. 



It was heaven. It put me in the perfect mood all day! The perfect combination of oil, chili paste and plum sauce with that full flavored juicy roast goose. HA! I didn't hold back. I even ate rice (a lot of it) considering I gave up rice 5 years ago. Oh my.
